This has been my absolute favorite trimmer ever, but suddenly, after years of using it with no issues, it won’t turn off. Now I’m scared to leave it unattended in case it overheats or causes a fire, so I’m stuck carrying it around, listening to the constant buzzing. The battery life is amazing—it’s barely losing charge even after all this time—but that’s not exactly helpful when I can’t shut it off. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m out a pretty expensive trimmer. Really disappointed.

The battery gave up after three years. The warranty is two years. Mine no longer holds a charge for more than a week. I was religious about charging the trimmer and then leaving it off the charger until it needed charging again. It didn't help the battery last. When it was new it would last for months between charges. Now it makes it about a week. It has been charged less than two dozen times.

Really disappointed in the quality. It's not a bad electric trimmer, but even at the price these sell I expect good or great, but this trimmer is just "okay".

But the snap-on guards... what the heck. There's flash (plastic excess) on half the heads that I need to take down with sandpaper. Some spots are sharp which unfortunately is how I noticed initially, scratching part of my face. The quality just isn't their.

Do not buy this trimmer unless it hits >$50, you will get better bang for your buck elsewhere.

After a while, my charging cord stopped working. Support kindly send me a new one on the house. Appreciate the care!

The way the guards snap on is difficult. After using the 9/12mm for the 3rd time, it will not stay on. I've noticed one of the tabs is deformed. My fault? Maybe. Bad design? Definitely! So I guess I'll either trim my beard shorter than I planned or let it grow longer than I planned because the 9/12mm is useless.

That being said, the Brio Beardscape V1 works great and the battery lasts amazingly long term.
