Simply an Outstanding Product!
After weeks of research, I finally purchased my Brio Beardscape V2 and have been using it for one month. I cannot believe how much better this trimmer is to all my previous trimmers. They just don’t compare. I’ve gone through 3 previous trimmers in my life to date all made by Philips or Braun. I’ve always used a single guard with the adjustable wheel. Fully understanding that the single guard was always a compromise due to the flexing of the guard, thus not getting a consistent trim; I just did not want a trimmer with a slew of guards.
Well today I’m glad I’ve decided to go with the Beardscape V2 even though it comes with numerous guards. Once I found the guard that worked for me, I simply stored the rest away. But my eureka moment was when I used the V2 trimmer and quickly realized how easy the trimmer contoured my face (under the jaw line) due to the open blade system. In addition, without having any flex in the guard my beard was cut evenly throughout. In the past I would always have to trim the unevenness with scissors or free hand with the trimmer without the guard. Furthermore, the trimmer just cuts smoothly and effortlessly. Just a joy to use. Money well spent was my initial reaction.
The trimmer came fully charged and to date I have not yet had to charge it; I trim my beard two to three times a week along with trimming my hair. The battery life is another impressive reason for my purchase.
